    Apple removed the headphone jack from its phones and tablets (so they could sell more AirPods!) with no solution to connect headphones and charger simultaneously. Ideally, they should have offered a native Apple hub before discontinuing the jack. Apple’s $9 adaptor does not allow to charge the iPad simultaneously. This resulted in 3rd party hubs in the market (with boastful claims) that don’t function as expected or break in a couple of months. Here are a few options to alleviate the problem...
